Home theatre installation in Bangalore, designed for your room

Homezee Smart Solutions designs and installs home theatres across Karnataka and Hyderabad: dedicated theatre rooms, media rooms and living-room setups. We design the room before we install anything, give you a fixed-price quote, and one in-house team does the design, installation, calibration and support.

How a home theatre project works

Every project follows the same order, so nothing is decided on install day.

  1. Site visit, ₹3,000

We measure the room, check light and acoustics, and look at where the screen, speakers and seating can go. The fee is adjusted against your final invoice.

  2. Design

Speaker layout, screen or display position, seating, acoustic treatment and every cable run, on paper.

  3. Fixed-price quote

Every component and cost itemised. The quote is the price unless you change the scope.

  4. Installation

Wiring, treatment, mounting and equipment, done by our in-house team.

  5. Calibration

Speaker levels, distances, crossover points and room correction, set so the room sounds the way the design intended.

  6. Handover and Site Report

We walk you through the system and you get a Homezee Site Report, as you do after every visit.

Dedicated theatre, media room or living room?

What each kind of room involves. The right one depends on the room you have and how you'll use it.

We can also phase it: modular treatment now, and a full treatment later if you move to a dedicated room.

Want a starting point before the site visit? The Home Theatre Suggester shows a speaker layout and real options for your room type, and the Projector Selector shows what screen size fits and where the projector goes.

Building or renovating? Wire for the theatre before plastering

Speakers are wired, even when the music comes from an app. Every speaker needs a cable back to where the amplifier or AV receiver will live, and in-wall, in-ceiling and height speakers need that cable in place before the wall or false ceiling closes. Adding it later means breaking walls or running surface conduit.

  • Decide the speaker layout (for example 5.1, 7.1 or 5.1.2 with height speakers) from your screen wall and seating position.
  • Run speaker cable from every speaker point back to the equipment location, in one piece, labelled at both ends.
  • Mark the projector and screen positions, so power and signal cables reach them before the false ceiling closes. The Projector Selector shows where the projector goes for the screen size you want.
  • Keep speaker and data cables in their own conduit, separate from mains power.

One system with your home automation

A theatre works best when the room responds with it. We design the theatre and the automation together, so one "movie" scene can dim the lights, close the curtains and switch the AV system on, from a keypad or the app.

Building new? A wired KNX home automation system is planned before plastering, alongside the theatre wiring. Already living in the home? Smart home automation over Zigbee works with your existing wiring.

Planning the automation for the rest of the home? Our planner prices Insert, the EX/PX series and Zigbee packages for your home type, all-in (incl. 18% GST and 10% installation by Homezee). The final quote comes after a site visit (survey fee ₹3,000). See your price in 2 minutes

Speaker brands we install

  • Polk
  • KEF
  • Definitive Technology
  • Revel
  • Triad
  • Episode
  • Klipsch

We choose the brand for your room's size and acoustics and for what you actually watch and listen to (films, cricket, gaming, music), not for the dealer margin. The recommendation comes after we've measured the room.

Home theatre buyer's guide

Six questions to settle before you buy, whether it's a living room, a media room or a dedicated theatre in a 4 BHK or villa.

  1. 01

Which type of home theatre should I choose?

Start with the room, not the equipment. A dedicated theatre suits a room used only for watching, with full light control and full acoustic treatment. A media room is shared by films, sport and gaming and usually uses modular panels. A living-room setup keeps the room a living room and usually pairs a large display with in-wall or in-ceiling speakers.

  2. 02

How big a projector screen will fit my room?

Use our free Projector Selector: set your ceiling, seat distance and where the projector can sit, and it shows the largest screen each projector in our catalogue can make in your room and whether it suits your room light.

    Open the Projector Selector

  3. 03

Can I choose the speaker brand?

Yes. We install Polk, KEF, Definitive Technology, Revel, Triad, Episode and Klipsch, and we recommend the brand that fits your room size, acoustics and what you watch, after we have measured the room.

  4. 04

Can I pay for a home theatre in EMI?

Yes, on credit cards through Razorpay, with 3 to 24 month tenures on 12 banks: ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, RBL Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Yes Bank, BOBCARD, Federal Bank, IDFC First Bank and AU Small Finance Bank. Interest is set by your card-issuing bank, so it is not no-cost EMI, and it is subject to bank approval. EMI is not available on HDFC or SBI cards, debit cards or cardless EMI.

  5. 05

When should I plan a theatre in a new 4 BHK or villa?

At the drawing stage, before plastering and the false ceiling. Speaker, projector and screen cables have to be in place before walls and ceilings close, and the theatre can be designed alongside the Zigbee or KNX automation for the rest of the home.

Where do you install, and how do I get a quote?

We install across Karnataka and Hyderabad, from our base in Bengaluru. WhatsApp +91 80884 40322 with the room size, a photo or floor plan and what you watch. The ₹3,000 site visit is adjusted against your final invoice, and the fixed-price quote comes after the design.

Home theatre questions

How much does a home theatre cost in Bangalore?

It depends on the room, the acoustic treatment and the equipment tier, which all change independently, so we give a fixed-price quote after the site visit rather than a figure blind. The quote itemises every component, and it is the price unless you change the scope.

What does the ₹3,000 home theatre site visit include?

The ₹3,000 site visit is an in-person room assessment: measurements, light conditions, acoustics, and where the screen, speakers and seating can go. The fee is adjusted against your final invoice if you go ahead, and you get a Homezee Site Report after the visit.

See how we work

Do I need acoustic treatment for a home theatre?

Yes, some treatment is almost always worth it, because the room shapes the sound as much as the speakers do. Hard, parallel walls cause echo and uneven bass; treatment at the right points controls that, and we measure the room before recommending how much.

Full acoustic treatment or modular panels: which should I choose?

Choose full treatment for a dedicated theatre room, and modular panels for a living room or media room that has to stay usable every day. Full treatment is designed into the room’s walls, corners and ceiling; modular panels mount on existing surfaces and can be added in stages.

Should I get a projector or a TV for my home theatre?

A projector suits a dedicated room where you can control the light, because it gives the largest picture. A large display is brighter and simpler, so it usually suits a living room with daylight; we recommend one after seeing the room’s light and seating distance.

See what screen size fits with the Projector Selector

What speaker layout does Dolby Atmos need?

Dolby Atmos adds height speakers to a surround layout, and the layout is written as three numbers, such as 5.1.2: five main speakers, one subwoofer and two height speakers. Which layout fits depends on the room size, ceiling and seating, and the height speaker positions have to be wired before the ceiling closes.

Speaker wiring in the pre-plaster checklist

Which speaker brands does Homezee Smart Solutions install?

We install Polk, KEF, Definitive Technology, Revel, Triad, Episode and Klipsch speakers. We pick the brand for your room, its acoustics and what you watch and listen to, not for the dealer margin.

How long does a home theatre installation take?

A living-room theatre typically takes 2-3 days, and a dedicated room with full acoustic treatment typically takes 2-3 weeks. The design and quote come first, so you know the schedule before work starts.

What wiring does a home theatre need before plastering?

Every speaker needs a cable back to where the amplifier or AV receiver will sit, and in-wall, in-ceiling and height speakers need that cable in place before the wall or false ceiling closes. Mark the projector and screen positions at the same time, so power and signal cables can reach them.

Read the speakers section of the checklist

Can my home theatre work with home automation?

Yes. We can design the theatre and the home automation as one system, so a single "movie" scene can dim the lights, close the curtains and switch the AV system on. On a wired KNX home or a Zigbee retrofit, the scene sits on the same keypads and app as the rest of the house.

Smart home automation in Bangalore

Do you calibrate the system after installation?

Yes, calibration is part of every home theatre we install. We set speaker levels, distances, crossover points and room correction so the system sounds the way the design intended.

What warranty comes with a home theatre installation?

Every installation comes with a 1-year comprehensive full-system warranty covering hardware, wiring and programming, serviced by our in-house team. Support stays with the same team that installed it, not a third-party call centre.
